Homestyler Free vs Paid Plans for an Apartment
Plan an apartment or kitchen in Egypt with Homestyler. Compare Basic, Pro, and Master by room layout, image quality, exports, and renewal terms.
Verdict: Start with Homestyler Basic and a tape measure for an apartment finishing project. Pro adds multi-floor design, sharper images, and drawing exports; Master suits sustained 4K and video work rather than a single kitchen layout.

- Checking appliance spaces before placing an order
Who should skip

- A measured sketch already answers your layout question
For an apartment finishing project in Egypt, Homestyler Basic is enough to draw a room to measure, place furniture and appliances, and see 1K images. Choose Pro when you need frequent sharper images, multi-floor design, or drawing exports. Master makes more sense for sustained 4K and video work. A tape measure and the free plan are a reasonable starting point before paying for either.
Plan the kitchen before finishing work
Start with the finished wall positions, door openings, and appliance spaces. A cabinet outline can look right in a picture while leaving too little room for the refrigerator door. Record the fridge width and the opening space in the refrigerator buying guide, then draw both into the room.
For the dishwasher, measure the niche and the area its open door occupies. For the washing machine, include the space needed for connections rather than using the cabinet face as the full depth. Take ventilation gaps from each exact appliance’s installation instructions.
During apartment finishing, use the plan to compare cabinet and appliance positions before commissioning the cabinets. Recheck the measurements on site with the installer before work starts; a render is a picture of the inputs you entered.
What you can do in Basic
Homestyler is a cloud-based three-dimensional (3D) floor planner in the browser. Basic includes unlimited projects, unlimited 1K rendered images, and at least 100,000 free models and materials. It also includes three free roof styles. Here, rendering means generating a finished image from the scene you have arranged; 1K, 2K, and 4K are image-resolution tiers.
Try two arrangements of the same kitchen before spending on higher-resolution images. If you can already decide where the fridge and washing machine go, sharper pictures may add little to that purchase decision. If you want a 4K image in Basic, you buy it separately per render. Some render types can also use Homestyler coins earned through activity.
The Homestyler website has Arabic pages, but the design tool does not offer Arabic in its language menu. Its 13 options include English and several other languages. Try drawing one room in Basic before subscribing if menu language matters to you.
When Pro earns its place in the project
Pro includes 75 renders each at 2K and 4K per month, unlimited speed previews, and watermark removal. You can upload up to 300 of your own textures and 300 models, useful for representing finishes and furniture beyond the free library.
It also adds custom lighting and environments, multi-floor designs, parametric stairs and roofs whose geometry you can adjust, and interior modeling tools. Exports include a colored floor plan, a bill of materials (BOM), and construction drawings. Some artificial intelligence (AI) credits are included each month.
Pro is useful when the finishing project also needs a colored floor plan or a list of materials to discuss with the contractor. Master is easier to justify when you will produce many polished views throughout the project.
Master is for a heavier rendering workload
Master includes everything in Pro, unlimited 4K image renders, and space for up to 500 of your own textures and 500 models. It increases the video and panorama rendering quotas and includes more AI credits. The separate limit of 300 renders per account per day still matters when scheduling a large batch.
| Your next task | Plan to consider |
|---|---|
| Try furniture positions and review 1K images | Basic |
| Export drawings or make frequent watermark-free high-resolution images | Pro |
| Produce many 4K images and more video or panorama work | Master |

Check billing before starting a paid period
The plans page shows prices, with billing for your region confirmed at checkout; payment methods depend on region. Names can appear as Pro+ and Master+ in some regions, so compare the features and billing period for the plan you select.
Paid plans renew automatically. Cancel auto-renew in My Subscription to stop the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Membership fees are generally non-refundable. A first-time auto-renew discount differs from the standard renewal price, so use the renewal amount when budgeting. Prices include tax and can change at renewal.

Frequently asked questions
Is Homestyler Basic enough for a kitchen layout?
Basic lets you draw the room and place furniture and appliances. Measure the appliance niches and door swings yourself, and check the exact installation instructions before ordering cabinets.
Can Homestyler export construction drawings?
Pro includes construction drawings, a colored floor plan, and a bill of materials. Have the installer check those against the actual apartment before work starts.
Do I need Master for one apartment?
Master is mainly useful for heavier 4K image and video work. For one apartment, start in Basic and move to Pro only when a specific export or image requirement calls for it.
